To use SMS-Magic Interact users need to have permission to SMI objects and their fields. SMS-Magic has more than 30 objects, so assigning users permissions to these objects can be a tedious task. To improve efficiency, there are 3 permission sets.
An admin can assign permission sets according to user role. The three roles for which permission sets are provided are admin, conversation user, and template author.
Following are the 3 permission sets.
•SMS Interact Conversation User
•SMS Interact Permission Set
•SMS Interact Template Author
This document describes these SMI permission sets and the scenarios in which they can be used.
This permission set should be assigned to the user whose primary job is to send and receive messages.
Users with this permission set can use features such as Single/Bulk SMS, Campaign, List view, New SMS, Converse Desktop, Resend SMS to send out messages.
Users can also receive incoming and perform actions on incoming messages such as Lookup, Opt-out, and Alerts.
Users can also read message object configurations.
This permission set is best assigned to the admin user, since it gives visibility and access to the entire application.
Users with this permission set can access all features of SMS-Magic Interact.
This permission set should be assigned to the user whose primary job it is to create and edit templates.
Users with this permission set can create and edit templates, and also read message object configurations.
